Child not Eating Enough
First of all remember that kids actually listen to their bodies and only eat when they are hungry. If they aren't hungry, they won't eat.
Second I would cut back if not eliminate the snacks. If they don't eat their meal, that's what gets pulled out if they get hungry.
Third make sure it's not a case of they just don't like the food. We completely changed up what we were eating because the kids wouldn't eat it. Now they eat three meals a day and a snack.
Also remember the charts the doctors go off are, more often than not, bull. If my child is healthy in every other way, I don't worry about it. I've had a girl who would barely eat some days and other days she never stopped eating. She's small, petite and the doctor's chart says she is severely underweight-but she's healthy with a fast metabolism.
