Giving a baby chicken stock

Plain chicken stock can be given to a baby at a very young age, but I'd wait until they're at least 6 months old. You have to be careful about the amount of salt in it though. If you make your own stock it's probably fine but a lot of commercial chicken stock is full of salt and preservatives. That can be very harsh on a little baby's tummy.

I usually don't put bones in my stock because it ends up being extra broth from you think I'm losing nutrients this way? Maybe I should switch from boneless to bone-in cuts.
