Toxic dog treats

Lexi is part of our family just like I am, just like the bf, and just like Charlie. So her diet is important, too! Saw this warning for pet treats today and thought I'd drop a line about it. A good thing to remember is that "Made in the USA" could still have ingredients that are not from the USA, so the best thing to do is to make treats yourself. Cesar Milan's website has some great tips and recipes here:

We very rarely buy treats for Lex and I stick to a bite of chicken here and there for her. When Charlie gets older it will be a great activity for us to do together.. and of course a bonding experience for him and Lexi :)

Good reminder about the ingredients they can include in Made in the USA products, which is unfortunate. We don't buy treats very often.
