How do the Duggars do it?

Whether you agree or disagree with their choices, you have to admit they are pretty awesome when it comes to finance. They don't believe in debt and they are very into reusing items. I personally cannot imagine having so many children and being able to provide for them as well as the mom and dad do! My hat's off to them, really.

Here's an article I was reading today about how they handle finances. Do you do any of these things?

We're about to have our ninth child and I think to myself they have over twice as many kids as they do. Personally I never had a set number of children, I wanted as many as I could because I loved being around kids and wanted my own. With our finances I control the money, we have a joint account and my husband always tells me when he spends money and usually tells me what he's getting, I know how to budget money for everything better than he does and I'm the one paying the bills so he lets me have the money to cover everything. This has worked pretty good for us.

That's an amazing story. However, just because they can do it doesn't mean everybody else can, which is how some people come across. I've read articles on how to save money, but it all depends on where you live. If you live in a big city, cost of living is way more than if you live in the country. It's all a matter of preference.
