Food for 8 months old baby: meat
Meat is a great source of protein for your baby and so important! Here is a great chicken stew recipe that I can't wait to try. Of course there can be many variations but I would recommend that anything you put in it has already been given to your baby by itself to make sure there are no allergic reactions.
8 oz (1 cup) boneless, cooked chicken, chopped
2 oz (1/4 cup) cooked vegetables (choose the vegetables your baby prefers)
2 oz (1/4 cup) cooked rice (white or brown, I would go with Brown - way more nutritious!)
2 fl oz (1/4 cup) homemade chicken stock (home made is best but you can use store bought but I would go with low sodium)
2 fl oz (1/4 cup) breastmilk/formula
pinch of thyme
