    I totally agree with this. People glaze over all of the struggle and change postpartum women go through. I remember being about 4 weeks postpartum and my mom wanted me to go an a 2hour hike with her. I was like "um, no. my body is recovering from delivering LIFE - i do not have the energy for that". But at the same time I felt like I was letting everyone down because I wanted space and time to adjust. It was miserable at times.

      So true. I learned to baby myself and thankfully, my hubby and children were in agreement. They all took up my slack and took care of me while I took care of baby.
