Babies and yogurt: when can they eat it?

It is recommended that yogurt be introduced to baby around 7-8 months (always check with your pediatrician before making ANY change to your babies diet).

Whole milk yogurt is best. I will go with plain yogurt mixed with our own grown fruits and veggies. The mixed fruit and/or fruit on bottom varieties have a ton of sugar in them. When mixing yogurt with anything, make sure you've already introduced the fruit or veggie so that if an allergic reaction develops, you can rule out that fruit or veggie.

Some great fruits and veggies to mix with yogurt are avocados, peaches, bananas, etc. They may even like it plain :)
