Eye gunk in babies, what to do?

If your baby has eye gunk take a warm damp washcloth and wipe away from the eye towards the corners. If the discharge is green, yellow or appears for awhile it is advised to see the pediatrician. They may have an infection such as pink eye or a clogged tear duct, both of which should be handled by a physician.
