Does a baby need water in hot climates?

I'm not a fan of giving babies water. Filling them up on anything that has no nutritional value is just not a good idea and can be dangerous. Breast milk and/or formula are plenty enough to hydrate a baby so I'll say as long as you're keeping up on feedings, you wouldn't have to worry about your baby getting dehydrated.

I agree. Though, if older babies are showing an interest in drinking from my cup, then I let them.
