Heating a bottle? Try it this way!

I know a lot of people use microwaves but I was never quite comfortable with this. When I needed to heat a bottle I used a small pan of water, heated it up and set the bottle inside. As it would heat I would check the contents by splashing a bit on my inner arm. Once it felt slightly warmer than room temperature the bottle was ready! I shook it up too before giving it to make sure there were no hotter areas of liquid in the bottle that could burn the babies tongue.

What about you ladies? How did/do you heat bottles?
