ARGH! Completely forgot a customer was coming!

How frazzling (is that even a word?!) I completely forgot a customer was coming for eggs and a chicken order and my husband ran out to the store for a couple of things.....and it was embarrassing that I forgot! We got busy planting, I was up since 1:30am, only got an hour nap, then 15 more trays of veggies came....can you say head's spinning?

When's the last time you felt frazzled and things spinning out of control? (Ok that might be an obvious answer since we are all moms, but humor me ok and let me know I'm not alone today! ;) )

Oh wow, that's happened to me with being in my pjs and someone coming by and I know it's happened when a child was fussy, I was trying to do other things and the doorbell rang. I feel for you! Did your day get better?

This happened right as my shift started tonight, adding to my frazzled-ness! Oy! I had to back track my time because I had only posted on comment.

I would be so embarrassed. How did you handle it?
I would have ran and got my bathrobe. Lol

I used to be excellent at remembering things. And now, I tend to get "frazzled" nearly every day. My husband asks me often, "Did you call this place? I asked you yesterday" (but he is understanding). I have come to the conclusion that children deteriorate brain cells. I kept forgetting our camera so I could print and mail pictures to my mother, which I finally did yesterday. And, I believe my dogs' rabies shots are due soon, but I cannot remember which month. I know there was something else I meant to do today, but I cannot remember (hopefully nothing important). :/

Do you arise that early to tend to your farm?

I would be exhausted. Although, I sometimes am awaken near that hour because my son is sprouting and gets hungry, but not always.

I rise early to do two early morning paper routes and staying up today was because of farm stuff, but normally I do get back to bed because hubby is home to tend to the children.

Last night I lost my wallet. Took me a half an hour to find it and it was in the diaper bag the whole time just in a different spot from normal. La sigh....

        Hopefully your customer was understanding!

Oh my, I get frazzled too when I can't find my phone or my wallet. And have done the same thing, finding it in some obscure spot or obvious.

Yes, our customer was very understanding. I just told her like it is and why if I appeared frazzled because I was just starting work and hubby had left, etc.

Wow I would be frazzled too. I Actually almost missed an appointment today. I git a text from my partner asking where I was. I grabbed a sleeping baby and ran out the door. Then she got mad because she eats after naps and I forgot a bottle and felt bad nursing at someone else's home. Needless to say it was a short visit. But I totally understand the frazzled thing. Just glad to know people are understanding and your kids will live no matter what you put them through.

I would be frazzled too in your situation. I like it when people understand and don't go off on me. Makes it better.

Why do you think Mondays are the worst? Do you have more going on or is it because you are just coming from the weekend?

I was trying to register my daughter for vacation bible school and the website was glitching so it was taking longer. So I was nursing my baby and she had just fallen asleep when the neighbor came over causing my daughter to wakeup in a panic. When she did she clamped down hard causing some pain. It took forever to open the door because I was trying to put my boob away and all my neighbor wanted to know is if it was bothering me or the baby that she was mowing her lawn in the middle of the day.

Ugh, those are the worst moments, aren't they? At least your neighbor was sweet enough to ask, but still all that for a simple question....sigh.
