Reasons why baby dribbles

Reasons why baby dribbles or drools: underdeveloped swallowing, teething, chewing on a toy. Try an ointment such as lanolin that will help with chapped skin. Petroleum jelly might help to.
My baby started drooling around 4 months. She started teething.
I put a bib on her so that I could just change that when it was wet instead of changing her clothes all the time. Thankfully she doesn't drool as much anymore, unless she has a toy n her mouth.
If your baby is excessively drooling and seems to be accompanied by other strange symptoms, you should definitely bring it up to his or her pediatrician.
