Question

My son Xavier is almost 23 months old. I was just wondering when we should start to try potty training? Lately it seems as though he is trying to grab 'that area' whenever he wets his diaper, but when we ask him if he needs a diaper he says no and goes back to playing....so Im just wondering.

I'd highly recommend taking a look at the 3 day potty training method. The method suggests starting at 22 months. We had WONDERFUL success with 2 of our 3 and plan to use it again in just a few months!

My daughter is turning three and just about fully potty trained. We started when she was almost two. At first to get her to associate the potty with going to the bathroom we would put her on her potty and turn the water on which would make her pee and then go "You did it! You went pee pee on the potty!" and she would get really excited and then started to want to do it on her own. At that point she was telling us when she went potty in her diaper and the more she kept up with it the more she started to realize when she had to go potty and started telling us when she had to go. Now she just goes in and does it on her own with the occasional accident here and there.
