Christmas Decor

How soon is too soon for you? I am so excited because this week I am cleaning up the house and putting away the fall decor and pulling out the Christmas stuff! I always decorate for Christmas the week of Thanksgiving, we'll put the lights up over the weekend and turn them on Thanksgiving night after we dinner. It's become a tradition of sorts. Then the weekend following Christmas we are going to an illumination at the near by Arbortorium ‚Äčthen setting up the tree.

Is decorating something you do with your family or do you dread it? I am a bit of a Clark Griswold. I LOVE Christmas!

Oh I love it.. but all in due time :)

I love Thanksgiving.. so no decor changes until then.. after Thanksgiving, we typically tree hunt the next weekend.. then decor slowly goes up! I do love it :) We love having a real tree.. and as opposed to people taking Christmas decor DOWN asap after the Holiday.. we leave ours up until "the wise men" come to see Jesus.. A Catholic tradition of sorts :)

Me too!!! I love to decorate and I think its something all kids love to do so we enjoy it together. It takes all I have to wait till Thanksgiving night( our tradition) to set everything out. I love the holiday and the feeling it gives everyone and figure why not want it to last as long as possible :)
