The little moments in life mean the most.

This morning Jasmine and I were talking about going through the baby clothes and getting the newborn clothes out in preparation for Connor's arrivial. She looked at me and said "mom can I ask you a question?" I said yes and she asked me if she could come up and see Connor right after he is born. "Mom, I love him so much and I want to see him before hes all hooked up to machines and tubes, before they take him to surgery. I want to tell him how much I love him and how much I want him to come home." I cried. It was such a touching moment. I know I did something right with her. She is so loving and compassionate. She has a deep care for others.

This absolutely made my day, by far the best thing I've heard in a long time.

Awww. You raised a good one there. It's crazy how siblings have that connection and as yours before he's even born. What a great kid :)

Thank you everyone. I had to wait til she left for school, because I did not want her to see me cry and think something was wrong. It is amazing even how my Makenzie, at 2, is already connecting with the baby growing inside of me. She seems to be starting to get that there is a baby in there. Jasmine has a very tender heart, and always has. She cannot stand to see anyone in pain; either physical or emotional. If you are crying, she is too.
