Is it possible to have a healthy pregnancy after a tubal ligation

It is possible but EXTREMELY rare. A tubal ligation is a form of permanent birth control that removes a portion of the fallopian tubes to prevent the egg and the sperm from ever meeting. A tubal ligation will prevent pregnancy and should only be done if you are 100% sure that you are done having children. It is very rare to get pregnant after a tubal ligation and it puts you at a higher risk for having an ectopic pregnancy. If you had a tubal ligation and you suspect pregnancy you need to call your doctor right away.

Yeah, I've heard of reversals, but a tubal is pretty permanent so it is best to know for sure you don't want any more children.
I have never known anyone but I have read about it.
