I broke down....

I have held off buying my boys Legos for a long time (too many pieces, too afraid with a baby in the house, not responsible enough to pick them up and on went my excuses)....but I broke down and bought each of the three older boys a set for Christmas/upcoming birthdays. Tell me, am I going to regret it? I even bought storage containers for all of them since Zulily was having a decent sale but somehow I feel like I am going to be kicking myself. Eeks.

That's a good idea about the glue and keeping them together to display. I guess I should remain hopeful because my 5 year old did get a set of Mega Bloks (Skylander set) to review and it's my older son who seems to be the one who builds different things out of it the most. He's very hands on though and likes to take things apart and rebuild them. So if one of them uses them, I will be happy.

Legos HURT. I am terrified when Jasmine asks me for legos. THEY HURT. We ended up with some in some box that was given to us. I stepped on one. Did I mention, THEY HURT. Lol. Good luck.

That's exactly what I was going to say. How can something so little, and plastic hurt sooo much. Maybe its just because its so unexpected when you step on one.

Oh we have army men, mega bloks and trains that hurt too, so I knew that in advance! :)

I don't think you will REGRET it so to say.. just like any other toy.. might be a hassle from time to time.. but there are SO many creative outlets with these lil guys! My brother LOVED them.. I did too.. we had an area we HAD to keep them in.. and bins we knew to put them in.. it wasn't rocket science, we knew that's where they went :) You could always get one of those lego TABLES.. and they have to play with them on there?

That is clever! I would never have thought of something like that. I love her creativity.
