Super Itchy pregnancy belly and I poured rubbing alcohol on it: is it ok?

Well I suppose that rubbing alcohol would work. I know some people use it for itchy bug bites. I didn't use it though. I had a super itchy belly for a lot of my pregnancy! I simply rubbed cocoa butter all over myself lol (or had David do it ;) ). It relieved it and it smelled so amazing and hey, helped with the stretch marks haha. :D

Did anyone use rubbing alcohol or cocoa butter or something else?? :)

The itchy pregnancy belly is something I don't remember getting. But I love some good cocoa butter anytime, pregnant or not :-)

oooh I don't think rubbing alcohol is a good idea, it will dry your skin out and actually make it worse - and that's not good if you don't want stretch marks. Your belly might be itchy because the skin is too dry and is stretching - Why not use an anti-itch cream like Eucerin or Dermasil for very dry and itchy skin, this will not only soothe but moisturize and help prevent those ugly stretch marks that you can't get rid of later.

Somebody did tell me about cocoa butter. I tried it but don't remember the results.

I used cocoa butter oil, it helped a lot and I didn't get any stretch marks either which is great. Never tried rubbing alcohol though.

I used cocoa butter also. It helped and it prevents stretch marks. Two for one deal lol
