Best sleeping position for a newborn?
I would love to know what is the best sleeping position for a newborn, the side or back?
The back is the best place for a newborn. You should always lay them doing on their backs.
Back is best. They should only sleep on their side or tummy of they can roll themself to that position. And ven then they should still be put to bed on their back.
As the other ladies have said, back is best. There's been a big push for this over the years to help reduce the risk of SIDS. Once a baby starts to roll they generally have good enough neck control to position themselves so that getting air while sleeping is not an issue. At that point you just have to be sure not to have fluffy pillows and blankets around them.
Always on their back. It is the safest way for them to sleep.
On their back is best and recommended by pediatricians. Some babies like to roll onto their sides which is fine just keep checking on them.
Thank You all for your help
