Grounding toddlers?

when is an appropriate age to "ground" kids......

      Grounding a toddler would be ineffective. They would not understanding this at all and likely you would find yourself and your toddler frustrated for no good reason.

      Grounding works pretty good for big kids if you can make it a natural consequence. You misbehave out in public? Then you won't be going to the playground afterwards, instead we are going home. Why? Because I cannot trust you to behave properly in public. Sure you are grounding them but it's a natural consequence to the behavior. A toddler simply would not get that, at all.
