How to buy or make a baby prints ornament

Charlie was born 2 weeks before Christmas. As busy as I was, I had to make sure that I made these because I knew how fast those tiny wonderful feet would grow. I made one for each set of grandparents, as well as one for our own tree. I've seen quite a few recipes but I used the salt dough kind.

1 cup salt
1 cup flour
1/2 cup warm water

Mix ingredients and knead dough until stretchy. Then roll out and use a cutter in whatever shape you like. Take babies hand or foot and press into the dough and remember to poke a hole through the top so you can add ribbon.
Then bake at 200 degrees for about 3 hours. After you remove them from the oven let them cool and you can paint them however you want. I let the bf do ours, he picked silver with a dusting of gold spray.

These turned out so beautifully for Charlie's first Christmas and the grandparents loved them. They were very easy and you can't get much more affordable than flour and salt.
