Child Loss Poems

This was posted on my wall after Connor passed. Don't know who wrote it but its beautiful.

Daddy please don't look so sad,Momma please don't cry.
Cause I'm in the arms of Jesus,And He sings me lullabies.
Please try not to question God,Don't think He is unkind.
Don't think He sent me to youAnd then changed his mind.
You see I'm a special child,I am needed up above.
I'm the special gift you gave Him,A product of your love.
I'll always be there with you,So watch the sky at night
.Look for the brightest starAnd know that's my halo's brilliant light.
You'll see me in the morning frostThat mists your window pane.
That's me in the summer showers,I'll be dancing in the rain.
When you feel a gentle breezeFrom a gentle wind that blows
.Know that it is mePlanting a kiss upon your nose.
When you see a child playingAnd your heart feels a tug
,Don't be sad mommy,That's just me giving your heart a hug.
So daddy don't look so sadAnd momma please don't cry
.I'm in the arms of JesusAnd He sings me lullabies!

I cried when I read it for the first time. We had this one read at Connor's funeral.
This one is beautiful as well. Thank you for posting these Amanda!

You just totally made me cry with that. It is very beautiful and makes me think of my six babies who have gone on before us. Maybe they are even playing with Connor?

I would like to think so. I have a friend I met on Facebook. Her son died three years ago to the EXACT same genetic condition. I do believe that they are all up there in Heaven all playing together in their perfectly made bodies. I do wonder, though, sometimes, if when we get to Heaven will our babies still be babies to hold and rock them, or will they be young children laughing and playing?

          That made me is beautiful.
