How to throw a shower for a soon to be mom

First you make sure the mom either registers for what she would like or you have her give you a list of what her needs are.

Next you will need to get a guest list from her on who she wants to invite, unless of course it is a surprise!

Secure a venue, a private home, church, etc.

Plan a date and time.

Buy, prepare and send out invites.

Then you will have to plan whether or not you will have food, snacks, a meal.

Then there's the fun of games and prizes!

Have you ever planned a baby shower?

I love planning baby showers and birthday parties! My first question is always if they want have a gender reveal or name reveal than what theme? While I am gathering ideas of the theme I ask for the mom to be to register at local places. Then write a list of need items that I can tell to people that ask me. After the guest lost is made I try to send the invitations at least 3 weeks in advance. The last baby shower I hosted was baby Dino themed and I used a local print shop to go all out on bottle labels and cupcake toppers.
