Breakfast for Toddlers?

Now that Avery is eating basically the same stuff we eat I'm trying to get away from making separate meals for her. Lunch and Dinner are working out fine, but I'm stumped about breakfast. I eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast pretty much everyday and my husband just grabs something at work. I don't feel like cold cereal everyday is good for a toddler. It's not very balanced and it's kind of hard to eat. I don't want to make something super complicated every morning for her, though. I don't have time for that.

I started thinking back to what I ate growing up. I can't remember back to toddler days but in elementary school and up I had either cereal, toaster waffles/pastries, or an english muffin for breakfast. My husband's parents made him eggs pretty much every morning for breakfast, which seems like to much effort to me LOL.

What do/did you feed your toddler for breakfast? did you mix it up daily or give them the same thing for a week? What about your older kids? Do you still make them a separate breakfasts?

Tristen loves eggs so I do that most mornings for him. I hate to admit that I don't put a lot of effort into it. It takes like maybe a minute. I egg into the pan straight out of the shell and scramble it in the pan...no milk, no extra fork or bowl to scramble it in. A little seasoning and it's good to go. He loves it.
