A mother carrying a baby with down syndrome will not experience any different pregnancy symptoms. Down syndrome will not affect the mother or cause her to have symptoms.

Sometimes a baby with down syndrome can have other medical issues, such a heart defect. Some babies with down syndrome might move less during pregnancy but not all.
