Why are support groups for single moms important

I think that support groups for any moms are important. I don't attend a separate group, but I use moms.com as somewhat of a support group for me.

Support groups are very important because they have people who can relate to your specific circumstance. I have quite a few friends with children, but their kids are in college. I have quite a few friends in a relationship, but they've been married for 10 years. Finding support groups with other people you can relate to helps you not feel so alone, can give you advice about your child at certain stages in their life, and boost your confidence because you can give advice to other moms as well.
