Nap. Swing. Issues!

Wondering if anyone else has a baby who's obsessed over the swing! She does not fall asleep in crib, would take over an hour maybe two in the past. By then I'm stressed out. I put her in swing and she passes out in ten mins or less. At night we transfer her into crib and she's fine but during the day the naps just doesn't work since she gets up quickly prob because of bird sounds and during day cooking/cleaning kitchen noise etc. any advice? She's 8 months growing out of this swing and really don't know what to do next! I was told there's bigger kid swings. What to do?

I play classical music and dim lights and nurse her until she falls asleep and I use a bassinet for naps. There are swings that hold up to 30lbs but that's pricey and it's best to try another method. Do you have a jumper or exersaucer for her to play in? If so what I do is I have my daughter play in that while I do dishes and house work, that way she can sleep better during nap time without all the noise.

Maybe try putting her in the swing and about 5 min or so after she falls asleep turn the swing off so that she gets use to not moving when she is sleeping . Then maybe eventually she will be able to fall asleep with you rocking her and putting her in her crib for naps... Also maybe turn her music up a bit louder for naps so she can sleep threw the noise you make while she's sleeping...
