Cavaties

The obvious problems are food choices.. But genetics can also play a key role along with what is eaten during pregnancy.. There are some studies out there that suggest flouride (which was found from Agent Orange) causes more tooth decay than it prevents. Many cases of kids not having cavaties, getting a flouride treatment and then having cavaties with no change in diet. I'm learning this one the hard way. :) A natural ways to heal teeth is magnesium-baths in Epsom salt, or just magnesium bath salts. Coconut oil and oil pulling helps. There are other ways than filling your mouth with amalgam and mercury.

That's all I know about.. I have a mouth full of fillings and so does my oldest daughter.. We are looking for a holistic dentist because I don't want to fight about the flouride. My middle daughter broke her front tooth off falling down the stairs, it had a cavity before. It hurts her and that's the caveat for me.. but I refuse to take her to a dentist who won't even look at her without putting her under.

Thanks.. Apparently activated charcoal helps too.. But not sure how... I'm going to have to look it up. Raising Natural Kids had something under their 'dental care' album on Facebook.

This is a great post. Food has a ton to do with it, and one of my friends actually was able to not only stop, but to reverse tooth decay with a dietary change!
