Hell potty training

so Im trying to potty train KaMauri but its not really going well... ( He will go booboo in the potty but not peepee ( only when he booboos) I am not a fan of pull ups cause all he does is pee in them and they do nothing. Everyone keeps telling me to just get big boy underwear ( trainpants) for him but Im scared its gonna be a big mess... in need of some advice.

I think he is too young. No need to push a boy who is not even 2.5 if he is not ready. Honestly. I did that with my oldest and it caused no end of trouble. Then, when he was just about to turn 3, he showed interest, I tried again. And it worked great! Take a break and keep on using those diapers!

I just trained my 3 year old boy. We do the 3 day potty training method. It is rough the first day because they do keep having accidents but they will get it. Basically the idea is to let them throw out all diapers. Do not use any sort of pull up, diaper, anything like that. They only use big boy underwear. Also maybe beforehand take them to the store and let them pick out what underwear they want as well as treats for the reward system. You need to cut out drinks 3 hours before bed as well to prevent accidents at night. Then when potty training days start you have to be on their heels all day. Constantly tell them "let me know when you need to go potty ok?" And literally say this to them every 5 minutes. You will get sick and tired of saying it but its the repetition in their head and you are giving them a verbal reminder to hopefully trigger them realizing "hey, I need to pee!" before they have an accident. When they do have an accident just tell them, it's ok but we need to go pee and poo poo in the potty. And if you catch them having an accident pick them up and run them to the potty. You don't want to give them any negative reaction because this can cause them to regress. And when they are successful, even if its only a little, give them lots of praise! Cheer for them, sing a potty song, anything! Then offer a treat. Do a better treat when they go poo poo. And if they say they need to go potty, make an effort but dont actually go give them some sort of consolation prize. We did stickers. By the end of the 3 days your kiddo will be potty trained! The key is consistency. They might still have accidents once in a while, especially depending on their age but its better than changing diapers! I hope this helps :-)

I had a friend who did it in three days too, she put them in jeans and regular underwear. if they did not make it to the bathroom in time the jeans would get wet and uncomfortable and they had to walk themselves to the bathroom and change out of them. It seems cruel but they learned fast and had very few accidents. The other thing she did was keep them out side so there where very few accidents in the house.
