Where to find help for unemployed moms

My husband when to our unemployment office and there is an office center called "Work force" or something. They will help you update your resume, look for jobs, sometimes they can direct you to additional training or job fairs or even host a job fair.

Staffing companies can be helpful but we do not have any real experience with them so if they charge a fee, I cannot say they are worth it or not.

Can you think of anything else to help unemployed moms?
