Is just me having a hard time trimming my 9 months old baby's nail fingers?
Do you have any suggestions to make it easy on mommy and baby and get the job done?
I try that since she was born, it was always difficult, now she fights it,lol.and her nails are sharp.she wakes up when I start messing with her fingers.
I bite Hayden's... I find it so much easier than trimming them with clippers or scissors.
When he was younger I would sit Tristen in my lap and he the hand that I was training the nails on I would hold up in the air, almost straight up that way he didn't have the strength to pull his arm away and couldn't reach it with the other hand. It also helped keep him from closing his fingers. Sometimes Daddy would have to help hold him or I would wrap my legs around him.
I clip my daughters nails once she's fallen asleep.
Wait until he's asleep.
I have been trimming Autumn's nails since birth and she is use to it. I can't do it at night, because she is a light sleeper. I trim and file them at least once a week. I would try at night if your little one sleeps hard.
I was always terrified to trim my babies nails. So my husband has always done it.
I was very terrified too,but some one has to do it and it wasn't gonna be my husband.
