Potty Training

I think Eva might be getting the hang of potty training. She went consistently for about 3 hours last night with only one accident. So I'm going to buy pull ups tomorrow for when we go to town once she gets to the point where she is going all the time.
Andrew has decided he is a big boy and will not wear a diaper again.. I have been limiting his water intake from supper on. He snuck some water from one of the girls' cups last night and ended up peeing all over himself.

Andrew has been somewhat trained for a few years-he still has the attitude of 'I'm playing I don't want to go pee'. He has recently decided he doesn't want to wear a diaper to bed anymore. I wasn't in any rush for the bed time because it seems my nephews all still have accidents-oldest are 10.

That's awesome! But honestly pull ups are a waste of money. We bought them and they
      A. Don't hold as much as a diaper so when they go it almost instantly soaks through
      B. Its like a diaper so they think its ok to go in them.

I just found it works to put underwear on them. It makes them feel like a big girl and they will instantly feel when they go. Most kids can't stand the feeling of being wet so if they feel that they went they won't want to keep feeling that way. I just explained to her that we can't go potty in our big girl undies. It worked pretty well for us. We tried pull ups and we weren't making much progress until we ditched them. Hope she keeps up the good work!!

For us to get to church or the grocery store, it's a 40 minute drive. The pullups are only for those drives while she is still learning.

They really don't hold anywhere near as much as a diaper. I would bring extra clothes just in case when you take her out in them. My daughter was wetting right through them almost right away if not right away when she would pee.
