What do you hate seeing on Facebook?

There's a really horrible picture circulating on Facebook right now of the maimed elephant. I really cannot stand to look at it, my stomach turns and I hide those posts really quickly.

Don't get me wrong, I am a huge animal rights person! But I just simply cannot handle images like that. I know it happens, it's terrible and tragic. But if I look at something like that I don't want it to be a surprise on my newsfeed. I would rather see a "Warning, graphic image" disclaimer so that I am not taken by surprise.

Same thing. Or abused babies...it breaks my heart. I'm the same as you, a huge animal rights activist and SO against abuse of ANY kind. So when I see the babies and the animals beaten and bruised it breaks my heart and I can't stand looking at it.

That and anything absolutely disgusting that for some reason people find "funny." It blows my mind some of things people "like" and "share."

Drama. People really need to grow up. Especially when people are talking trash but spell everything wrong or use the wrong grammar or words. I don't even want to acknowledge the terrible things the say so much as correct all or the mistakes in what they are saying. Which is equally as childish so I don't. But still. The computer tells you when you spell something wrong. All I want to do is tell them they should really go back to school. Especially if they are acting like that's where they belong.

My parents have my mother in law as friends on facebook solely for entertainment purposes. She is a train wreck. And likes talking trash about my fiance and I. She's in her 40's seriously. I no longer have facebook but yeah I used to like to do that with some people. Others were so annoying I deleted them lol

Drama!!! I can't stand it. However I'm with Melissa. There is ONE maybe TWO people I have on my friends list that I will scroll through for entertainment purposes. There was an instance a couple days ago where won woman was complaining about her neighbor's children... and she was friends with that mom! Needless to say an argument broke out over facebook about immaturity and whatnot. I wanted so badly to comment "Why are you guys friends?" lol

I agree with everything you just said. It is nice to catch up for a whole 5 seconds but in reality you aren't friends anymore and most likely won't get together like you keep talking about doing. lol. Its too much drama for me. I love this place for the same reasons you do. Plus there is so much support and no drama. I could spend all day on here.

To be honest, and I hope i do not offend anyone on here, but what I hate the most is one person's posts on facebook. She does not seem to understand that she can not talk about the military like it's their fault she can't see her "boyfriend". She's gotten told in the past by her first boyfriend's superior like 8 years ago that she can not say stuff online, and she still does. She does not get it. In 8 years she has gone through almost 6 boyfriends all military.

Oh wow, what was she saying online that got her a talking to?

Once upon a time ago when I was a military wife I KNEW not to put super personal stuff online, anywhere. It really hit home when someone I talked to casually online found me at our newest duty station and called my brand new neighbors to give me a message. I still don't know how in the heck she found me, but that was a great lesson in not revealing anything online when it comes to super personal stuff.

Let's just say when she landed herself on a marine wives forum under the name of tag chaser, there was a problem. My best friend is a marine wife and she told me about the person. The person landed on every branch of the military's wives websites as a tag chaser, with a warning about how crazy the chick was.
