Oh you shall clean that room, my child.

When my kids were little I could make cleaning fun. Somewhere along the way they figured out that I was tricking them and cleaning became a chore. I have had to become even more clever to get chores done without too much grumbling, so I will play this really fun game where I take their laptops and hide them in plain sight on my bed and tell them they can have them back when their chores are done! Okay, fun may not be the right word for that game, but it gets it done.

How do you motivate your kids to clean? Do you need suggestions? here's a few from Popsugar Parenting, and I am sure you super smart mommas have plenty of advice to share on this topic!

We have promised our boys a trip to Legoland. We usually provide incentives like they can have their Kindle time once their work is done or playing in their "Kiddie" pool. Things like that.
