Flying at seven months pregnant

If you are planning on flying at seven months pregnant make sure you get your doctors approval first. I suggest getting a note from your doctor to bring to the airport with you in case the airline is concerned about letting you on the plane. Some airlines have rules not letting women in the third trimester fly. There is a tiny risk of preterm labor from the pressure changes when flying but if you doctor has approved your trip then you should be fine.

I remember when my dad was sick (and dying), I really contemplated going home to see him one last time but my aunts all said the airlines wouldn't let me fly at 6-7 months. It would have been a challenge to coordinate with my husband's work etc. anyways since hubby was saving his vacation time for when baby was to be born. So I did not end up flying home.
