Birth Control...

I am wondering what other mom's use for birth control...
As of now I am on the pill, of course I wish I didn't get my period its just a pain and no fun being sick for a week every month... We are gong to start trying for Baby number 2 around this time next year... (I think, maybe sooner maybe later IDK ) So I'm wondering what other mom's use for BC? What they think about it, how they like it... Those kinds of things...

Because of my age and migrains I don't have a lot of options. I was on the pill for a little over a year but started having problems with it and bleeding pretty much all the time. I got the Mirena IUD about a month ago and for the first maybe two weeks it was no fun at all. Insertion hurt big time, I almost passed out which the doc told me was normal. If you decide to do the IUD I would suggest going to someone who does a lot of them so that it is quick. I went to Planned Parenthood because birth control is what they do. Mine only took maybe 30-45 seconds to insert. It did take a while for my body to get used to it, there were a few days I thought about having it removed. But I'm very sensitive to any kind of medication or any changes in my body. But now that I've had it a while I like it and not having to remember to take a pill every day.

          I use the pill.
I wanted to try the shot but i have seeing two people i know gain tons of weight and one of them got pregnant.
I wanted the maraina but i have seeing things on tv and news of it slipping ir damgaing other organs.
And the patch i am leary on as how does it stick when u shower.

Now there is a pill i heard as my dr told me about where i get a period every 2months instead of every month. I am thinking about it, but i have an issue if i miss my period by a day i flip out. Like my period was due yesterday and i still have not go it. I hope it come by the afternoon or tomorow otherwise i am
Testing. I have been taking my pills awesome so i know i have not missed any pills

I was on the patch in High School because my head aches were so bad. It sticks just fine in he shower. It would stay on for a whole week... just around the edges it would not stick as well.... I am going to ask my Dr about a different pill... I am on some other meds that I have to take at night so adding one more pill to it really isn't that big of a deal... I will ask her about one where I don't get my period as often...

I had the mirena IUD but had it removed because it was embedded into my uterus wall and it made my sex drive go byebye, and now im currently on the implanon, the little bar in your arm, i am getting it removed soon, i cant deal with the pregnancy symptoms every monh thinking i am pregnant nor could i stand getting sick and huge migraines, then my arm would go numb and i would lose feeling in my hand, sometimes it was painful sometimes it just tingled, one day my breasts were leaking milk, i found out i have to have it out because hormonal imbalance with the implanon. Ive had no good luck with any IUD so far

I had the IUD (paraguard-no hormones) for four years. When I had it put in they gave me a pill that I placed under my tongue that softened my cervix so the insertion wasn't too bad. Once I stood up I had really bad period cramps. I took a Motrin and I was okay about two hours later. I loved it, no hormones & regular periods. When My husband and I got married I had it removed, I got pregnant three months after getting it out. The pregnancy ended up being ectopic which was a very painful situation, physically and emotionally.

Wow there are so many options out there. I like the idea of a pill then I can stop taking it when we want to try again and not have to tell anyone or go to the Dr and get something removed... I think I am just going to stick with the pill and see if there is another one out there that might work better for me. I would love to not have my period (That's when I get sick, and get migraines) so I will have ot see what the DR says...
