Toddlers with Diarrhea: what to eat

When a toddler is ill, one of the most important things is to keep them hydrated. With Diarrhea, it is especially important. We offer popsicles, water, juice... just about any fluid they show an interest in drinking we give them! As for food, I usually follow my child's cues. If there are no symptoms other than diarrhea, we let them eat whatever they are asking for (as long as it's accompanied by a drink!). If there are other symptoms such as vomiting we try to steer them towards foods that are easier to digest.

What do you feed your little one when they are ill?
