Low pregnancy hormone level: possible issues
There is a huge range of what is considered normal for the pregnancy hormone hGC during different stages of pregnancy. Some women will be on the lower end of normal and have a perfectly healthy pregnancy. Some women will have a low level and it indicates an impended miscarriage. The best way to evaluate the hCG level is by doing multiple blood draws, two days apart, for a few days and compare how the levels increase. If the level are doubling each day then it is a very good sign, even if they levels are on the lower end of normal. If the levels are not increasing it is a sign of miscarriage.
