How to get baby to nap?

Well, a baby should give you some cues that he/she is sleepy. For example Lucas rubs his eyes a lot and yawns. Not to mention the heavy eyed look on his face haha. What we do is lay him down, cover him with his favorite blanket and give him his stuffed Pegasus. It might take a few re-tuck in's but it always works for him. Keep the routine for nap time the same and baby should catch on pretty well. :)

Owen starts moaning while he is playing and does a fake cry every now and then. Those are my biggest clues he is tired. When I go to put him down for a nap I make sure he is fed. I take him to his room change his diaper. If its warm or just cause some time I wont put his pants back on so he's just in his onsie. I think he's more comfortable... Then we close the curtains turn on the music grab a NUK and his warm fuzzy (winter) blanket. It has to be fuzzy... and we sit down and rock to sleep. I hold his lil hand and give him kisses. It takes about 5 min for him to fall asleep. Then I wait a few more min and I lay him down give him his giraffe and close his door. His monitor is on but I am never very far away. He sleeps for about an hour or two and a half. :)
