SAHM or working outside the home?

I think a lot depends on how old your children, if you need the money, etc. I am a WAHM mom and that's kind of the best of both worlds. It can be stressful, though. I think the "war" between SAHMs and those who go to work has to stop, though!

I am a WAHM. Yes, it's been a blessing to be able to raise my children and see all their firsts. But I do miss my interaction with adults, and getting out of my home daily. Where working from home I am behind my phone taking orders and making orders or training new business partners. The whole fight about those who work at home to working outside the home doesn't bother me. To me it's just women being women. I let it roll off my shoulders. Because every woman makes a choice to what they want to do.

I'm a WAHM, though it's only a few hours per day. There are parts of me that miss working outside the home, but I couldn't handle it now. I know I couldn't. I loved my job but it was extremely high stress and I brought it home with me constantly. I was married to my work and loved every minute of it. I know that I couldn't keep that up with a child and bf at home.

The wars between moms needs to stop completely, on levels more than just the work issue. I've been blessed with a man in my life who understands my need to stay home and watch my boy grow. That doesn't mean I look down on working moms, I just believe that moms belong at home. I respect all moms who raise their children with love, respect, understanding and compassion. Whether that means they work in their jammies or in a suit.
