Yes!

A little over a month ago a prisoner escaped from prison here in Oregon. He was there for several robberies he had committed against my family. He returned here after he escaped and the whole little town we live in has been on high alert as the police issued a warning that he was to be considered armed and dangerous. He stole over 100 guns from my parents. Most just parts or were needing repair (my Dad was a licensed gun dealer), but some were whole, and most have not been recovered. The police have been stationed at my parents house almost every night since because he has been threatening our family and this guy hates my husband so the police have been here patrolling our street as well.
We just found out this morning that Friday he was found and captured about two hours from here after trying to flee from Federal authorities when they tried to question him...in front of the courthouse! Lol what a dummy!
This Mommy is going to sleep a whole lot more soundly tonight! It has been so stressful worrying about our safety and the safety of my parents. This guy had attacked people and attacked police officers, he is still facing charges for stabbing one officer, so having him back in prison is amazing! I'm so thankful that he is back behind bars! I can go for walks by myself again! lol I am very excited!

I am! As soon as I heard I looked it up on line and kept reading it over and over. I am so relieved! It's been so nice here outside but the police told me not to go out on my own or with just the baby if I didn't absolutely have to. He had attacked a lady here and they had her leave town and I don't think she's been back since but now I'm sure she will get to go home. We watched the police escort her out of town. I'm so relived it's over...hopefully they can keep him in this time.

Oh wow!! I am so glad you have that burden off your shoulders. That must have been horrifying!! I can't even imagine having to be on high alert like that not only for my own household but my parents as well. I am glad you will be able to rest knowing he is where he cannot torment you and your family anymore. I feel like you need a big long hug and a really deep breath and sigh of relief!!

It's been crazy! We have been making sure that we don't stay away from home for long and that everything is always locked up super tight. He's still got trials pending for the other 61 break ins that him and his friends did. Now he will be away for a LONG time even without those cases. He still has 7 years on his conviction from us plus the escape is an automatic 10 years and he stole 2 cars and broke into at least one house that we know of after he escaped.

Well he got got 10 years for our robberies but was only going to have to serve 7 and he had just been sentenced in Feb. he still has 60-70 more robberies, an attempted rape, stabbing a police officer and pulling a gun on another one to be tried for and now the escape plus he broke into someone's house after his escape and stole their car plus stole another car when that one broke down and now charges of running from police and resisting arrest. He will be put away for a very long time! It's so stupid too because he got a good deal on our robberies, he was facing 25-30 years because the value of what he stole was so high, around 20,000 plus all the firearms he stole. Meth makes people do crazy things!
