Article: The Kid ‘Milestone’ I’ve Been Dreading
This is certainly going to happen to us someday. Probably will happen to you too, if it hasn't already.
This mom's six-year-old dropped the f-bomb in a conversation. I think she handled it pretty well, but yes, this is not a favorite milestone.
My godson used to say my brother's name in a funny way. My brother is "Zach," but my godson couldn't get the "z" sound down, and it came out like an "F", and it wasn't too hard to imagine he wasn't saying Zach. At least he didn't intend to use the bad word, though--some kids can easily pick up proper usage and inflection!
So, have you made it to this milestone yet? If not, can you imagine it?
My son will not cuss, at least in front of me. Every once in a blue moon my daughter lets one slip and I just give her "the look".
You can just imagine how that conversation went... not well. She wanted to laugh, because he was so cute, but her morals wouldn't let her. I'm just glad she didn't get her belt..lol
