Summer bedtime

I think it very much depends on the child. Some kids need lots of sleep but others not so much. At a certain age, they can probably participate in that decision.

We're having a lot of trouble with this right now. Not only is it light out so Avery doesn't think it's bed time, we often forget bedtime is coming up ourselves. We usually try to quiet down at least 30min to an hour before bedtime so she can wind down. Lately it's snuck up on us and we suddenly realize that we've been running around playing right up until 8:00! Avery needs to sleep and so do we... Ugh.
