10 Life Lessons from a Dad..
Aw man.. this might bring some tears.. FYI!
It's about a a young gal who lost her Dad at the young age of 23.. she was 23, he was 52.. she often felt cheat and robbed to some extent.. he would never walk her down the aisle, help her buy a car or house, never meet his grandchildren.. she rightfully felt robbed of future days with him. But as the author thought more about him missing out.. she realized he had already taught her everything she needed to know from him in life in those quick 52 years.. she sums it up with 10 amazing and tear inducing bullet points.. I love them all. Dads are such special beings.. and it makes my heart sad that she doesn't have hers.. but it also makes me hug mine a little tighter.. her points are dead on and so sweet.. my fav is about her Dad loving sunsets...
This is what he said: "If you've had a rotten day, sunset reminds you that another day is ahead. If you've had a great day, sunset reminds you to soak it in. Either way, it's a win."
:) Share with me your fav lesson from her Dad!
In my 20s, I use to make excuses as to why I couldn't do something or be something due to my mental illness (bipolar). This lesson reminds me that no matter who I am & what short falls I have, I embrace me and love/accept everything about me.
