Schooling???

I was wanting to be a nurse. I have my prereqs pretty much done except for two classes. and then I got pregnant so things have been put on the back burner. But now Im thinking about switching my career path completely. Like being an OBGYN. I'm 19. So I could be done by at least 30. What should I do?

Not yet I'm still trying to figure out if this is something I would like to do or even be able to do with a little baby and a full time job.

If you didn't want to go through med school to be a full doctor, there are still nursing options to be involved with childbirth, like becoming a nurse-midwife, or even a doula, if you find you don't want to be a nurse. My sister-in-law was a doula and became a nurse-midwife in her 30's, and her initial degree was in anthropology. You are young, so you could easily do any of these things. :)

There are probably many different ways to accomplish your goals. Like others have said, speak with a guidance counselor for ideas, make a plan and stick with it. BUT expect little detours or curves in your journey because life happens but that doesn't mean you cannot do it.
