Need some advice!

I just got back from the doctors and now they tell me I have a over active thyroid so they aren't giving me medication. They found a lump by my thyroid so they want to do more tests. Because if it gets bigger they will have to test it for cancer. And if it is cancer they want to remove it. Then give me medication that can help my thyroid but the medication can give me more seizures and maybe a blood diseases. Who thinks taking that medication is a bad thing to do?

Oh man, out of my league, but were I you, if you trust these doctors, I would follow their advice.

If it's cancer, though, I don't think the medication would exactly cause that, right? I suppose it could exacerbate it. I hope this isn't the case at all, though!

Could you talk to a pharmacist to see what you could take for your thyroid that would not interfere with your current meds?

And they do not always watch what they are prescribing to see if there are adverse affects with the meds a patient is already taking. It's happened to my mom, my mil and my husband's aunt.
