Article: Should Changing Tables in Men’s Rooms Be Required by Law?

YES! Gosh, this is one of my biggest gripes. I hate that most mens' rooms don't have changing tables. Why would this be so hard? Why is not so common sense that we need to legislate to change it?

My husband was home alone with the baby from about two months on, and by "home," that's exactly what I mean--in the house! One of his worries for staying so homebound was this--that if he needed to change the baby, he wasn't sure he'd be able to do it. And isn't that just terrible?

Also, I'd like to see changing tables outside of handicapped stalls. There have been times when that stall was in use, so I'd have to wait with my unhappy baby. And do strollers really fit all the way in there? Not always!

Feel free to start with putting tables in men's' rooms, though. We can build from there.

I have never liked using public changing tables . I will use our stroller or the seat of the car before I use something public. That's just me.
