Social security disablity for autism
If you provide proof of the dx, such as a doctor's note, it shouldn't be hard. In the event you do get denied, you can appeal it. Good luck!
I don't really know anyone that has tried it, personally. I haven't yet for Bub but I am debating on it. I know if they get disability they qualify for Medicare and I want to make sure that after he turns 18 he will still have insurance.
They do deny most of them the first time around, unfortunately. The criteria is very strict to get it and one thing wrong in your paperwork means a denial.
My daughter got it
Can u help me
Good to know!
Let me no more about it
