..between 4-6 you can start!

Monroe's doctor told us to look for a few things before we start him on foods.. just to make sure he is ready! And I agree.. here are the things to look for..

- an interest in food.. like they notice it, seem to want to be part of the action of tasting it, etc.. a big interest
- their sucking reflex isn't the only one anymore.. when you insert a bottle or paci and their tongue goes to the top of their mouth and down.. that can sometimes be a good sign!
- they seem like they are much more hungry.. this is obvious :)

So the doc said to look for all 3 of those.. and then we can decide on starting.. but for us, we might hold off until closer to 6 months.. he doesn't seem to be hitting any of those markers lately!
