Is it safe for baby to sleep on belly

The general consensus is NO. I guess way back in the day it was recommended that babies sleep on their bellies because of the fear of them choking on something. That's not the case anymore and pediatricians now say that sleeping on their back is the safest way to sleep to cut down on the chance that they may suffocate against the mattress.

Once Charlie started rolling onto his belly there wasn't much I could do to keep him on his back. If I noticed it, I would roll him back over but there he would go again. At this point I'm not concerned because he's strong enough to roll himself over.
